Our history

Ours is the history of those who positively impact the present and build futures.
Our history began more than 20 years ago, on June 1, 1995, when our founder, Alfredo José Assumpção, an innovator specialized in personnel development and a master in human resources management, disrupted his field creating a company focused on the financial sector. Thus was born a company that always had in its DNA the idea of innovation and putting at the disposal of the clients a specialized team speaking the same “language” of the field.
Quickly, FESA became a leader in the recruiting market for financial executives in Brazil, but soon that goal became small relative to our dreams. We recognized an uncharted and important space that needed to be filled in the market and this idea became more and more consolidated when our clients kept requesting our services in other economic niches, and we managed to present them with solutions at the same pattern of speed and quality.
In 1999, we replicated the model of specialization for several other niches, bringing new partners, each with different career paths and expertises. Among the niches, we started to work with consumer goods, agribusiness, infrastructure, retail, cutting-edge technology, pharmaceuticals, consulting and manufacturing industry in general. We now could reach other areas, keeping the same concept and standard of specialization. This movement revealed another strong feature of our DNA, that we have been repeating for the past 20 years: Diversity generates Wealth. Diversity of ideas, genres, life histories, academic formation among others. This diversity makes the FESA Group one of the most diverse and heterogeneous companies on the market.

The turning point

In the midst of the global crisis of 2008, the FESA Group created ASAP, focused on Middle Management, but with the concept of executive search work, thus disrupting the market standard of companies that only use ads and send CVs. We adapt the process from Top Management to Middle Management, delivering a complete market search, which helps our clients make the best decisions. In only 4 years of operation, FESA ASAP already stood out as one of the main consultancies in the segment.

It’s time to expand horizons

Thinking of even greater growth within the Brazilian market, in 2013 FESA Advisory was born to assist in the management of Human Resources within companies, combined with all the FESA Group’s expertise to meet the demands related to the internal Human Capital strategy, involving assessment, organizational structure, remuneration studies, executive coaching, development programs and human resources consulting.

The missing pieces

We still felt that something was missing for the FESA Group to be complete and thus the FESA XFour was created. Aiming to be present in all stages of Human Capital solutions of our clients, as well as in all phases of the professional career of our candidates, FESA XFour comes as an incubator of solutions with a strong technological foundation.
As a first step, FESA XFour invested in TAQE, a company that developed an application with the same name, which prepares candidates for the job market and offers job positions that match their profile. In addition to this matching of ideal candidates and job vacancies, the application uses gamification, featuring lessons and interactive tests for the candidate to discover their potential, earn points and unlock real job positions, making qualification and job hunting fun.
To repay all the recognition by the market and invest in the potential of the next generations that we will find in the journey to offer the best in Human Capital management, FESA Group founded the FESA CROMA (Creating and Recognizing Opportunities to Change Tomorrow), to create educational and training projects, specialize future executives and prepare them to be the best in the Brazilian market.
